We often find that when people really stop to consider their small business technology, what they have is very old, and no longer meeting their needs. Kohera has found that dusty old desktops with their huge, heavy monitors are not properly equipped for today's entrepreneur or small business manager. And the best alternative we've found? Laptops!

Kohera buy most their laptops from the top manufacturers in Taiwan, generally considered to be the home of high-quality, unbranded hardware. A far cry from the "same-old, same-old" offered by the big, expensive brands, Kohera's range is rather more exciting. We can't give prices here, but expect that we can compete on many grounds (including price) with the larger players.

• Our support is phenomenal! We set up every machine that comes through the office with remote management software, so that with your cooperation we can resolve any technical or usability issues with your computer, and even train you by taking control of your mouse pointer and showing you how to complete your work! This saves you money that you might ordinarily spend on having a technician visit your premises, and lets us keep our costs down.
• We learn about your business before we order a single thing. That allows us to set up your laptops to do the work you need them to, right from the moment we deliver them!
• We use Open Source software where we can, although our computers normally come with the familiar, if a little tired, Microsoft Windows - just tell us if you want to try something new and powerful, though! The office suite we offer is usually OpenOffice.org, which saves you £100s straight away, whilst offering all the usual functionality you'd expect from the equivalent Microsoft offering.
• Our laptops have features that the leading brands simply do not offer, or will only give you on the top-of-the-range models. You may have used technologies like webcams, digital camera card readers, BlueTooth and wireless networking. Many of our models have these functionalities built right in. The advantage? You'll know everything will work together.
• When most companies say, "we deliver", they're talking about taking your money and getting a courier to do the leg work. Kohera will arrive at your door, in a suit and with a smile. We won't leave until you're happy with your new purchase.
• Don't get us wrong! We're happy to supply desktop computers, too. They often make sense from the cost perspective, and can be more easily upgraded in many ways. Why not get us to visit you for an hour? We'll give you impartial advice as to the state of your business technology.

Of course, if you'd like to go with a named-brand computer, then that's fine, too. We have lots of models to choose from, and recommend the Fujitsu, Toshiba Samsung and Acer brands in particular. We supply more of these than anything else.
